Meg Myers has premiered a new single called “HTIS.”

The Nine Inch Nails-esque track, which features Luna Shadows and Bones UK guitarist Carmen Vandenberg, is available now via digital outlets. Its title is acronym for “Hiding That I’m Sexual.”

“‘HTIS’ was inspired by becoming more acquainted with my subconscious mind,” Myers says. “It’s about taking off the mask, exposing the insecurities and imperfections, and allowing it all to be OK. ‘HTIS’ is an acceptance of my inner child and a re-connection to my sexuality by reclaiming the purity of it for myself.”

“HTIS” is the first single off Myers’ upcoming third album, title and release date TBA. A second single, “Children of Light II,” is set to premiere May 6.

Myers’ most recent album is 2018’s Take Me to the Disco. In 2020, she released a pair of EPs: Thank U 4 Taking Me 2 the Disco, and I’d Like 2 Go Home Now.

Beginning in August, Myers will be opening for select dates on My Chemical Romance‘s reunion tour.
