It what is perhaps an inevitable turn of events, we now have a sea shanty version of All Time Low‘s “Dear Maria, Count Me In.”

For those unaware, sea shanties have become something of a phenomenon on TikTok, with users singing their own sailing-themed songs, and also giving modern music a seafaring makeover.

Meanwhile, “Dear Maria” has also been having a moment on TikTok, thanks to a meme in which users sing along to the pop-punk rocker while declaring “Mom, it was never a phase, it’s a lifestyle.”

So, naturally, a TikTok user with the handle @SamPopeMusic shared his sea shanty version of “Dear Maria.”

“It was only a matter of time,” All Time Low tweeted, along with a link to the TikTok video.

By the way, All Time Low’s Alex Gaskarth and Jack Barakat recently shared their own version of the “Dear Maria” meme.
