Modest Mouse has scored a not-so-modest achievement on the Billboard charts.

The band’s song “We Are Between,” the lead single off their new album The Golden Casket, has hit number one on the Alternative Airplay ranking. Having already led the tally in 2004 with “Float On” and in 2015 with “Lampshades on Fire,” Modest Mouse has now notched number-one Alternative Airplay singles in every decade so far in the 2000s.

Only three other bands have scored number-ones on the Alternative Airplay chart in the ’00s, ’10s and ’20s: Green Day, Weezer and Coldplay. Green Day also scored a number-one in the ’90s, making them the only act to conquer the Alternative Airplay tally in four distinct decades in the chart’s 33-year history.

The Golden Casket, the follow-up to 2015’s Strangers to Ourselves, was released in June. Modest Mouse’s tour behind the record continues Friday in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
