Moon Taxi has revealed the details of the band’s next album.

The group’s sixth studio effort is called Silver Dream, and is due out January 22 of 2021. You can listen to the new single, “One Step Away,” which was chosen by ESPN’s SEC Network to soundtrack its coverage of the college football season, streaming now via digital outlets.

“I think this song represents a side of the album that is more rooted in soul and rock,” says guitarist Spencer Thomson. “We wanted to share something that complements what we’ve already put out to give the audience some sense of the variety of what’s on the album.”

Previously released Silver Dream songs include “Light Up” and “Hometown Heroes.”

Silver Dream is the follow-up to 2018’s Let the Record Play, which spawned the single “Two High.”
