My Chemical Romance fans: prepare to feel not OK.

The beloved band’s reunion tour has officially been pushed back to 2022. The international outing had originally been scheduled to kick off in 2020 before being postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s now set to kick off in March 2022, with the North American leg launching in August.

“We are deeply sad, but those emotions are only a fraction of the depth of feeling we have all experienced watching the suffering and loss of the past year,” MCR says. “We just want to be as sure as we can be that everyone is safe.”

“We are sorry if this is disappointing, and we REALLY can’t wait to see you in 2022,” the band adds.

Previously purchased tickets will be honored at the rescheduled dates. Refunds are also available at point of purchase.

MCR announced their reunion on Halloween 2019, six years after breaking up in 2013. They played their first and, so far, only show back in December 2019 in Los Angeles.
