Noel Gallagher and his High Flying Birds are dropping a bit of altitude.

The former Oasis guitarist’s solo band has released a new song called “Flying on the Ground.” The tune is available now for digital download, while its accompanying black-and-white video is streaming now via YouTube.

“Flying on the Ground” will appear on Back the Way We Came: Vol 1 (2011-2021), an upcoming best-of compilation detailing the first decade of High Flying Birds, which Gallagher formed following the dissolution of Oasis in 2009. The album also includes another brand-new song, “We’re on Our Way Now,” which premiered in April.

Back the Way We Came will be released in full this Friday, June 11.
