As previously teased, Paramore has released a new song called “C’est Comme Ça,” a cut off the band’s much-anticipated upcoming album, This Is Why.

The track, which certainly reflects the Bloc Party influence Hayley Williams previously spoke of, translates from French to “It’s Like That.”

“I’m trying to get un-addicted to a survival narrative,” Williams says of the song’s inspiration. “The idea of imminent doom is less catastrophic to me than not knowing anything about the future or my part in it. The guys and I are all in much more stable places in our lives than ever before. And somehow that is harder for me to adjust to.”

You can listen to “C’est Comme Ça” now via digital outlets and watch its accompanying lyric video streaming now on YouTube.

This Is Why, the long-awaited follow-up to 2017’s After Laughter, arrives February 10. It also includes the previously released song “The News” and the title track.

Paramore will celebrate the This Is Why release with a hometown Nashville show on February 6, followed by a full U.S. tour kicking off in May. They’ll also hit a number of festivals this year, including Bonnaroo and Boston Calling, and will open for select dates on Taylor Swift‘s stadium tour in March.
