If you’re a fan of St. Vincent, then you and Paul McCartney have something in common.

During a Reddit AMA session earlier this week, the Beatles legend was asked about which newer musicians he liked. In response, Sir Paul named Annie Clark‘s band, as well as Beck, “3 Nights” artist Dominic Fike, and psychedelic trio Khruangbin.

“I have a friend who sends me new music which helps me keep in touch with the modern scene,” McCartney wrote. “So I listen to people like Dominic Fike, Beck, St Vincent, and Khruangbin.”

He added that he’s also been listening to “a lot of classic oldies…from rock n’ roll to ’60s to soul to R’n’B, with a sprinkling of classical music now and then.”

Upon seeing her name mentioned by a Beatle, St. Vincent responded in an Instagram Story with, “Paul McCartney says he listens to me?!”

McCartney just released his new solo album, McCartney III, last Friday.
