The website Consequence of Sound is hosting a streaming festival in support of independent music venues affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The virtual event, dubbed Protect Live Music, will be held April 9-10. It will raise money for the National Independent Venue Association, or NIVA.
Artists on the Protect Live Music lineup include Portugal. the Man, Killswitch Engage‘s Jesse Leach, White Reaper, Coheed and Cambria frontman Claudio Sanchez‘s Prize Fighter Inferno project, grandson, Glass Animals, Spoon, Manchester Orchestra, drummer Arejay Hale, The Gaslight Anthem‘s Brian Fallon, and The Melvins.
