Puscifer searches for aliens in new "Theorem" video

Puscifer has premiered the video for “Theorem,” a track off the band’s just-released new album, Existential Reckoning.

The clip continues the alien abduction backstory that accompanies Existential Reckoning, and that Puscifer explored during their livestream concert last Friday. It also involves a mysterious briefcase, about which frontman Maynard James Keenan is being characteristically cryptic.

“People ask us ‘What is in the Briefcase?’ ‘Puscifer,'” Keenan says in a statement. “‘And what is Puscifer?’ ‘What is Puscifer is what Puscifer is.’ ‘Like a paradox?’ ‘More than one.’ Sigh.”

Yes, he literally says, “Sigh.”

You can watch the “Theorem” video streaming now on YouTube.

Existential Reckoning, the follow-up to 2015’s Money Shot, dropped last Friday. It marks the third straight year a Maynard James Keenan band has released a new album, following Tool‘s 2019 comeback Fear Inoculum and A Perfect Circle‘s 2018 effort Eat the Elephant.
