My Chemical Romance‘s Frank Iero welcomed Slayer shredder Gary Holt to The Black Parade with a special guitar.

According to an Instagram post from Holt, Iero sent him an Ampeg Dan Armstrong guitar as part of an axe swap between the two.

“Frank called it the DeLorean of guitars and I think he’s right!” Holt, who’s a big MCR fan, writes in the caption. “Thanks bro! Gonna do a quick set up on it and take it for a spin!”

My Chem, of course, was set to embark on a reunion tour in 2020, but the outing’s been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Slayer, meanwhile, called it quits after their final tour ended in November 2019.
