Organizers of the U.K.’s Reading & Leeds Festival have announced that the event is planned to go on as scheduled this August.
The news comes after Prime Minister Boris Johnson earlier this week shared a plan to begin ending lockdown restrictions in the U.K. amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Following the government’s recent announcement, we can’t wait to get back to the fields this summer,” reads a tweet from the R&L account.
Reading & Leeds 2021 is set to take place August 27-29. The lineup includes Queens of the Stone Age, Catfish & the Bottlemen, Liam Gallagher, Post Malone and Yungblud, among others.

While Reading & Leeds 2021 is set to go forward, it was announced last month that the U.K.’s Glastonbury festival, scheduled to be held in June, would be canceled for this year.
