Toadies have announced a tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of their 1994 debut album, Rubberneck.

The band will be playing the ’90s alt classic — which spawned the hit single “Possum Kingdom” — from front to back on the outing, which is set to kick off September 5 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Reverend Horton Heat will provide support on all dates.

Of course, this year is actually the 27th anniversary of Rubberneck, but Toadies are just excited to return to the road after being sidelined by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I recall seeing the White Stripes play live five days after 9/11 and it was one of the most cathartic music experiences I’ve had,” says guitarist Clark Vogeler. “It was simply healing to see live loud Rock and Roll after such a troubling week.”

“I imagine it will be a similar experience for music fans to get out again and see their favorite bands live, just as it will be for me when I get to see my faves again,” he adds. “As much as anything though, I miss playing music with these three guys and can’t wait to do it again so I’m really looking forward to the tour.”
