Machine Gun Kelly‘s ongoing U.S. tour will conclude this weekend with a concert in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, and another Cleveland institution will be in on the celebration.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has announced Machine Gun Kelly Day, taking place the same day the “Bloody Valentine” rocker headlines Cleveland’s FirstEnergy Stadium on August 13.

As part of the promotion, Kelly has donated several items to be displayed as part of the Rock Hall’s Right Here, Right Now exhibit, including the outfit he’s worn and the Schecter PT Model electric guitar he’s played while on tour in support of his Mainstream Sellout and Tickets to My Downfall albums, as well as his pink microphone and custom stand.

Additionally, attendees will have access to a MGK tour merch booth and can enjoy music from past winners of the Rock Hall’s annual Tri-C High School Rock Off battle of the bands.

Getting his own day is a much nicer welcome for Kelly than the one he received in Omaha, Nebraska, last week, where someone tagged a tour bus with a homophobic slur and graphic image directed at the musician. Kelly later blasted the unidentified culprit as “so dumb” and an “idiot” for tagging the “wrong bus.”
