Get ready for new Smith & Myers.

The Shinedown side-project, made up of frontman Brent Smith and guitarist Zach Myers, appears to be teasing new music. A tweet from the band simplY reads “Coming soon,” along with the hashtag #SMII.

Smith & Myers released a two-part EP, consisting of 10 cover songs, in 2014. Speaking to ABC Audio earlier this year, Smith revealed that the next Smith & Myers release will include original songs for the first time.

Shinedown, meanwhile, released a new single called “Atlas Falls” to raise money for Direct Relief, which is providing personal protective equipment to healthcare workers amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
