If you ever wanted to hear Shinedown‘s Brent Smith declare he’s the “might seduce your dad type,” your day has finally come.
Smith and Shinedown guitarist Zach Myers have released a cover of Billie Eilish‘s hit “bad guy” with their Smith & Myers side project, recreating the slinky single as an acoustic jam. And yes, they keep the “Duh!”
Along with the “bad guy” cover, Smith & Myers have also release a new, original song, called “Bad at Love.” You can download both tracks now via digital outlets.
Both “bad guy” and “Bad at Love” will be included on the newly announced Smith & Myers album, Volume 2. Like the previously announced Volume 1, Volume 2 includes five covers and five originals.
The other covers featured on Volume 2 are Oasis‘s “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” Peter Gabriel‘s “Sledgehammer,” Billy Idol‘s “Rebel Yell” and R.E.M.‘s “Losing My Religion.”
Volume 1 drops October 9. Volume 2 will arrive just two weeks later, on October 23.
