Before The 1975 was The 1975, Matty Healy and company had a different name: Drive Like I Do. According to Healy, the group is working on new music under their earlier moniker.

“There’s a lot of people asking me about Drive Like I Do,” Healy said in a recent Instagram Story. “Drive Like I Do was the band that we were before The 1975, so…it’s as humble as it always was.”

Healy added that the project will include “old music” as well as “a little bit of new music.”

“It’s not coming out today, but it’s coming out pretty soon,” he teased.

The 1975’s most recent album is Notes on a Conditional Form, which was released last May.
