The Black Keys have once again conquered Billboard‘s Alternative Airplay chart.
The duo’s new single, “Wild Child,” has hit number one on the ranking, making it the sixth Black Keys tune to achieve that feat.
Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney are now tied for the ninth-most Alternative Airplay leaders since the chart began in 1988. Red Hot Chili Peppers have the most, with 14.
“Wild Child” is the lead single off the upcoming Black Keys album Dropout Boogie, which drops this Friday. They’re playing an intimate, sold-out show in Los Angeles Wednesday night to celebrate the record’s release, which you can watch live streaming online.
The Black Keys will launch a full U.S. tour in support of Dropout Boogie in July.
