The Black Keys‘ new album Delta Kream has debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard 200.
The record, a collection of covers paying tribute to Mississippi hill country blues artists including R.L. Burnside and Junior Kimbrough, enters the chart at number six with a total of 35,000 equivalent album units, 30,000 of which were traditional album sales.
Delta Kream is The Black Keys’ fifth top-10 record. They’ve hit number one on the Billboard 200 once, with 2014’s Turn Blue.
The Black Keys will be playing songs off Delta Kream during an upcoming streaming concert, airing Thursday, May 27 exclusively via Spotify.
