The Head and the Heart current single “Honeybee” has taken the number-one spot on Billboard‘s Alternative Airplay chart.
“Honeybee” gives the Seattle band their third Alternative Airplay leader, following “All We Ever Knew” and “Missed Connection.” Both “Honeybee” and “All We Ever Knew” appear on The Head and the Heart’s most recent album, 2019’s Living Mirage.
By the way, the ascension of “Honeybee” ended the reign of Twenty One Pilots‘ “Level of Concern” atop Alternative Airplay, where the quarantine-themed track led the ranking for 14 straight weeks.
The Head and the Heart released a cover of the Post Malone and Swae Lee hit “Sunflower” in May. They also dropped a deluxe version of Living Mirage in June, featuring four previously unreleased songs.
