If you’re already looking forward to The Killers‘ Hot Fuss turning 20, now’s the time to share your ideas.
In a tweet Tuesday marking the 18th anniversary of the album, Brandon Flowers and company write, “Hot Fuss is legal. Thoughts on how to celebrate 20?”
Many fans have already taken The Killers up on their offer, with pitches that include performing Hot Fuss in full on tour.
Hot Fuss was first released in the U.K. on June 7, 2004, meaning it won’t hit the 20-year mark until June 2024. The album, The Killers’ debut, made stars out of the Las Vegas outfit with the hit “Mr. Brightside,” as well as the singles “Somebody Told Me,” “All These Things That I’ve Done” and “Smile Like You Mean It.”
The Killers have since released six albums to follow Hot Fuss, the most recent being 2021’s Pressure Machine.
