Unlike Flobots, Brandon Flowers cannot ride his bike with no handlebars.

The Killers frontman revealed during a recent Instagram Live session that he’ll be undergoing shoulder surgery after he “went over the handlebars” on his bike.

“An injury from that has manifested itself,” Flowers shared. “I have a torn labrum in [my] shoulder, so I’m going under the knife in a couple weeks to get that taken care of.”

Flowers seemed in high spirits regarding the upcoming operation, even laughing about his injury. He did add, though, that he’ll be in a sling for six weeks.

The Killers just released a deluxe version of their 2020 album Imploding the Mirage in January. They’re currently working on a follow-up record.
