Guitarist Dave Keuning has apparently rejoined The Killers.

At least, that’s what it looks like in footage from a recent Killers’ Instagram Live session. Keuning can be glimpsed several times in the footage, wearing a mask and safety goggles.

Keuning’s been on hiatus from The Killers since 2017; he released a solo album in 2019 under the name Keuning.

A snippet of music can also be heard in the video, but it’s not confirmed that it’ll be included on the band’s next album, the follow-up to last year’s Imploding the Mirage.  In August of 2020, around the release of that album, front man Brandon Flowers told NME that another one would be coming “in about 10 months.”  If that’s the case, then June of this year would be the target release month.

As previously reported, late last month, the band shared what looked an awful lot like an album track listing of 11 new songs, including “Pressure Machine,” “Runaway Horses” and “Desperate Things.” On the side of the list, they’ve scribbled the phrase “A List.”

The Killers did something similar when they were teasing the release of Imploding the Mirage. Leading up to the record, the band posted a potential track list broken up into three sections: “A List,” “B List” and “C List.”
