The Knocks have premiered the video for “Sound the Alarm,” the electronic duo’s collaboration with Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo and “Overwhelmed” artist Royal & the Serpent.
The clip stars child versions of all the participating musicians — including a mullet-sporting kid Cuomo — who come together to make music while the rest of the world is freaking out about an impending meteor hurtling towards Earth. Does the power of music stop the meteor in its tracks and save humanity? Spoiler alert: No, it does not.
You can watch the “Sound the Alarm” video streaming now on YouTube. The song dropped in July.
You may also know The Knocks from their collaborations with Foster the People, including “Ride or Die” and “All About You.” The two groups also released a joint covers EP this past March.
