The Lumineers have premiered the video for “Brightside,” the lead single and title track off the band’s upcoming new album.
The clip begins with different people describing what love means to them before transitioning to the “Ho Hey” outfit performing in a ballroom for a group of dancing couples.
“The ‘Brightside’ music video is like a documentary of the American love story,” says frontman Wesley Schultz. “It features all real people — none of the people that appear in it are actors.”

Brightside the album is due out January 14, 2022. It’s the follow-up to 2019’s III.
