The Regrettes have revealed the details of their next album, Further Joy.

The group’s third studio effort — the follow-up to 2019’s How Do You Love? — arrives April 8.

“That phrase, Further Joy, summarized what it meant to be on the hamster wheel of constantly chasing happiness, but in turn, that’s what makes you unhappy,” says frontwoman Lydia Night. “I was stuck in a loop of wanting to be better, wanting to be good, and therefore I couldn’t be here. I couldn’t be present.”

Further Joy includes the previously released songs “Monday” and “You’re So F***ing Pretty.” A third cut, titled “That’s What Makes Me Love You,” is out today via digital outlets.

Along with the album news, The Regrettes have announced a new batch of U.S. headlining tour dates for April and May. Those shows are in addition to the band’s current ongoing tour, which continues Friday in Burlington, Vermont.
