The Shins have announced a U.S. tour celebrating the 21st anniversary of their beloved 2001 debut album, Oh, Inverted World.

The outing launches July 12 in San Francisco, and will wrap up September 16 with a hometown show in Portland, Oregon. During each show, James Mercer and company will perform Oh, Inverted World in full, along with “additional fan favorites and deep cuts.”

Tickets go on sale next Friday, May 20, at 10 a.m. local time. For the full list of dates and all ticket info, visit OhInvertedWorldTour.com.

Aside from launching the career of The Shins, Oh, Inverted World is perhaps best known for spawning the single “New Slang,” which was memorably featured in the 2004 movie Garden State as the song Natalie Portman‘s character claimed will “change your life.”
