The Unlikely Candidates have released a new single called “Gemini.”
“‘Gemini’ is about the face we show the ones we love and the face we keep for ourselves, and all that is lost in translation between the two,” says frontman Kyle Morris.
“I was coming to the end of a relationship where I felt like I didn’t really know the other person because I never saw that true unfiltered side of them and they never saw that side of me,” he explains. “As the relationship fell apart the distance between those two faces got wider and it became a guessing game of what we were thinking and feeling. It finally ended and I never completely got to know who that other person was. We both had two faces but all we ever showed was one.”
