The White Stripes release digital deluxe 20th anniversary ‘White Blood Cells’ album

Third Man Records

The White Stripes have released a digital deluxe version of their 2001 album White Blood Cells in honor of its 20th anniversary.

The expanded set includes the original record remastered in HD audio, plus the full live recording of the Stripes’ June 2001 show at the Gold Dollar in their hometown of Detroit.

You can watch a live video capturing the Gold Dollar performance of the song “I’m Finding It Harder to Be a Gentleman” streaming now on YouTube.

Along with the White Blood Cells deluxe, the digital versions of both The White Stripes’ 1999 self-titled album and their 2003 mainstream breakout, Elephant, have also been remastered in HD audio.

Earlier this year, The White Stripes released White Blood Cells XX, a White Blood Cells companion package including various unreleased demos, alternate takes and live tracks. The collection was exclusive to members of Jack White‘s Third Man Records Vault subscription service.
