The Thirty Seconds to Mars documentary A Day in the Life of America is set to air January 11, 2021, on PBS.

The film, directed by frontman Jared Leto, captures footage from July 4, 2017, of Independence Day celebrations from all 50 states. It previously premiered during the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival.

A Day in the Life of America is also a companion piece to the latest Thirty Seconds to Mars album, 2018’s AMERICA, which spawned the single “Walk on Water.”
