Monday: Constellations – Trap Door

 Constellations is a heavy hitting, alternative-rock band based out of Mesa, Arizona. Forming in 2015, Constellations immediately went to work writing original material. In the winter of 2016, the band recorded what would come to be known as ‘Two Faced’, their debut EP. The three song compilation was released in April of 2017. After over a year of playing shows across the valley, the band released their follow up single, “Frostbite”, alongside its music video brought to life by Daniel Wand. Constellations recently released the single “Trapdoor” which you can hear below, if you love it, vote to hear it again for Song of the Week at the bottom of the page. Tuesday: Whstle – I Don’t Go Out

WHSTLE is a Phoenix-based band that combines powerful electronic hits with eclectic folk rock anthems. Band members Saydi, Will & Jake draw from their pop/rock, electronic, and soulful singer-songwriter roots to create a cinematic vibe with intimate lyrics. Wednesday: MRCH – Some Days

Since their inception in 2015, indie electronic duo MRCH has been recognized by The Guardian as “band of the week” and CMJ as – one to watch, with CoS debuting their recent single Glitter McQueen. The duo has toured extensively, opening for Chvrches, Skylar Spence, Kero Kero Bonito, and many others.

MRCH songs have been featured on Shameless, Guilt, The Vampire Diaries, Pitchfork/Ford In Focus series (ft. the front-women of Best Coast and Sleigh Bells), Famousin Love, and most recently the dark comedy Search Party.

Thursday: The Technicolors – Hurt So Bad

American rock band The Technicolors started off as the brainchild of Phoenix-native Brennan Smiley.

The formation of the band itself started back when Smiley was acoustically supporting other local music acts by performing his songs live. After a few shows, the project began to grow and soon turned into a more serious approach, taking on the form of The Technicolors.

Inspired by the New Millennium’s garage rock and mid 90’s Brit-pop, The Technicolors combine elements of those two genres with classic and modern components and subject matters to introduce a completely new and exclusive sound.

Today, The Technicolors is Brennan Smiley (Vocals, Guitar), Troy Lowney (Keys), Mike (Nico) Nicolette (Bass), and Sean Silverman (Guitar, Vocals).
