Monday: First and Forever – Chicago

Formed in Scottsdale, Az with the help of some poorly-written Craigslist ads, First and Forever began their mission in the sume rof 2017. That mission? To bring back the nostalgic emo and pop-punk sounds of the early and mid 2000s. Whether you grew up watching God Charlotte on MTV, seeing Taking Back Sunday at The Warped Tour or screaming the lyrics to My Chemical Romance along in your room, First and Forever is guaranteed to bring you back to emo’s glory days. Tuesday: Gnarwhal Jrz – Black Matter Salamander

Gnarwahl Jrz is an alternative rock two piece band out of Phoenix. They’re brand new to local scene and already making waves with their laid back surfer-esque feel jams. EL WEST symbolizes energy. This platform has developed into dynamic composition, truthful lyrics and a distinctive energetic performance. The music has effortless swell that can turn on you at any moment from a lifting bravado to a faint hum. Inspired by bands such as Broken Social Scene, Radiohead, Muse, and Arctic Monkeys, EL WEST has created its own compelling and original sound.
