Sun System

Sun System is a five-piece shoegaze band from Phoenix, Arizona. With songs focused on tension, melody, atmosphere, and introspection, Sun System gives listeners a dynamic view of both popular music and the human experience. The band’s live shows incorporate psychedelic stage projections while fully immersing the audience in a “wall of sound.”

In 2016, Sun System released two collections of demos, “Demo I” and “Demo II” via bandcamp; displaying their pop stylings from their high school playlists and early songwriting careers. Sun System is set to release their introductory four-song EP “Strange Ways We Meet” in December of 2017 – featuring their politically-charged single “Smiles with No Teeth.” The band is currently writing and recording their first full-length album which they plan to release in a one-song-a-month format, culminating in a 12-song album by the end of 2018. You can see Sun System play their EP release show Dec. 1st at Last Exit Live and on Facebook and Instagram. Celebration Guns are a combination of nostalgia, energy, complexity, and joy. Their sound borrows from elements of dream pop, indie rock and noise pop resulting in deceptively complex music that is catchy and filled with hooks. Rarely able to sit still, their music stretches genres while retaining an undeniable pop charm. You can catch Celebration Guns at Sun System’s Ep release show, Dec. 1st at Last Exit Live and on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
