Tom Morello has released a new song called “Let’s Get the Party Started,” featuring Bring Me the Horizon.

The track, which is available now for digital download, is set to appear on the Rage Against the Machine guitarist’s upcoming solo album, The Atlas Underground Fire.

In a statement, Morello calls Bring Me the Horizon “the current standard bearer of hard rock/metal today.”

“This song was written on three continents — [frontman] Oli [Sykes] was in Brazil, [keyboardist] Jordan [Fish] was in England and then I was here in L.A.,” Morello explains. “It was a real United Nations of metal coming together to produce this song, which really feels to me like it captures the angst and the frustration of the pandemic boiling over into an all-time mosh pit.”

“This song also has one of my favorite guitar solos that I’ve played in quite a while,” he adds. “I was really digging deep to make a solo as devastating as the track.”

“Let’s Get the Party Started” is the third song to be released from The Atlas Underground Fire, following the Phantogram collaboration “Driving to Texas” and a cover of AC/DC‘s “Highway to Hell,” featuring Pearl Jam‘s Eddie Vedder and Bruce Springsteen. The whole album is set to drop October 15.

Bring Me the Horizon, meanwhile, just premiered a new single called “DiE4u” last week.
