Avengers: Infinity War Obliterates the box office
The box office exploded for Avengers: Infinity War this weekend. Pretty sure everyone was expecting it to do well, people were saying it was going to make 225 mill opening weekend, it ended up making 630 million Globally! Blowing out Star Wars the Force Awakens out of the #1 spot for opening weekend. And it hasn’t even opened in china yet! With no signs of slowing down, it could end up being one of (if not the) highest grossing movies of all time.
Bodies Revealed exhibit coming to Odysea in the Desert!
Coming to Scottsdale starting May 12 you’ll be able to visit the world famous Bodies Revealed exhibit! Comprised of over 200 bodies, some whole and some dissected. The Bodies Revealed exhibit is a traveling exhibit that : “provides an in-depth view of the beautifully complex and intricate network of internal organs and systems in a very up-close and personal way.” Audiences will wander the 12,000 sq foot area and have a chance to get up close and see how we look on the inside!
Mega Man 2 & X NES cartridge collectors edition
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Mega Man franchise. So Capcom has teamed up with iam8bit and are re-releasing Mega Man 2 and Mega Man X on their original console cartridges. If you have your old Nintendos and your lungs are ready to blow out the dust, Mega Man 2 will be on the original Nintendo NES cartridge and comes in 2 different shades of blue. Mega Man X will come on the Super NES console just in a basic white cartridge. They’re only printing 8500 of each game so super exclusive and perfect for the gaming collector in your life.

We’ve got an MTV cribs style tour of the infamous Millennium Falcon in a way we’ve never seen it before. Brand spankin new and super clean. And who better to show off the only ship that made a Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs, than Lando Calrissian aka Donald Glover. They show off everything from the kitchen to captains quarters to his very own cape closet. It’s a great video and highlights just how good Donald Glover is going to be in the role. Saturday May 5th is Free Comic Book Day!
Free Comic Book Day is tomorrow! It’s basically the record store day of comic books, when exclusive covers and editions come out. With special events and creators at all comic shops.
