Lost Our Home Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501c3 charitable organization that provides animal welfare services for both pets and their people.
Lost Our Home Pet Rescue’s mission is to provide compassionate services to pets and people in crisis. We envision a world in which all pets have loving homes and are treated with dignity & respect. Our programs are unique and address the many difficulties people face when they need help for themselves and their pet. Our proactive approach has helped over 28,000 pets.
We’re a place where pet parents facing hardships such as homelessness, financial strain, illnesses, or domestic violence, are treated with caring compassion by dedicated pet professionals, in a warm and loving environment. Lost Our Home’s programs enable families to keep their pets under challenging circumstances that may otherwise have them feel the need to surrender the pets to a shelter, adding even more distress and hardship to the family/individual at a time when they need their pet(s) most. Keeping pets and families together protects both human and animal needs, and leads to longer, happier, healthier lives and a stronger community.
Due to the very nature of the programs that Lost Our Home offers, the demand for our services and the costs to care for our pets and to deliver our services to our community have never been greater than they are today.
