Vampire Weekend has released a new EP called 40:42, which features two reworked versions of the band’s song “2021.”

For the project, VW asked jazz saxophonist Sam Gendel and the rock group Goose to put their own spin on “2021.” Their only instruction was to make the track — which clocks in at a brisk one minute, 38 seconds — 20 minutes and 21 seconds long.

The original “2021” appears on Vampire Weekend’s latest album, 2019’s Father of the Bride.
