Taylor Momsen has shared a cover of the Chris Cornell solo song, “The Keeper.”

The Pretty Reckless frontwoman was joined by multi-instrumentalist Alain Johannes on acoustic guitar, who previously worked with Cornell on the late Soundgarden frontman’s 1999 debut solo album, Euphoria Mourning. You can watch the performance streaming now on YouTube.

Cornell originally released “The Keeper” in 2011 for the film Machine Gun Preacher.

Momsen is a big fan of Cornell — she previously covered the Soundgarden song “Halfway There” alongside drummer Matt Cameron earlier this year, and she performed at the 2019 star-studded Cornell tribute show. In fact, The Pretty Reckless was opening for Soundgarden on the tour during which Cornell died.

Meanwhile, The Pretty Reckless dropped a new single called “Death by Rock and Roll” in May.
