Wet Leg is back on the road after canceling a pair of U.S. tour dates over the weekend.
The “Chaise Longue” duo pulled out of shows in Colorado and New Mexico due to strains on their “mental and physical health.”
“Truth is that it all got a bit on top of us and we just couldn’t quite manage to get back on that plane,” Wet Leg says. “It’s been an amazing year playing our music all over the world but our busy touring schedule finally got the better of us this time…Our mental and physical health are such easy things to overlook when everything is so exciting and so busy, you barely have a moment to check in with yourself.”
Having now had the chance for “many big ugly cries” and to get “lots of good sleep,” Wet Leg is now “back and ready to rumble.”
Wet Leg’s upcoming schedule includes headlining dates, festival sets and gigs opening for Florence + the Machine.
