Tame Impala is up to something.
The Kevin Parker-led project has released a mysterious video titled “Rushium,” featuring a bevy of psychedelic images, including cascading sand dunes and melting trains. The one-minute clip ends with a lab coat-wearing Parker holding a medical vial labeled “Rushium.”
“Phase 1 Clinical Trials Begin 09/2021,” the video teases, suggesting that, whatever is going on, we’ll know by September.
The video does appear to be connected to Tame Impala’s 2020 record The Slow Rush, and features the album cut “Posthumous Forgiveness” playing in the background.
