X Japan‘s Yoshiki has postponed his upcoming Under the Sky streaming event, which was set to include Marilyn Manson and St. Vincent.

The online concert was originally scheduled to premiere December 23. A new broadcast date will be announced shortly.

“In the past several weeks, the worldwide spread of COVID-19 has become very serious,” reads a press release. “Due to this, the project, which involves individuals from various countries such as the U.S., Europe, China and Japan, took longer than expected for staff to coordinate. Despite careful last-minute consideration, the difficult decision was made to postpone its release.”

Other artists set to participate in Under the Sky include Scorpions, DJ duo The Chainsmokers, violinist Lindsey Stirling, and Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls.

Yoshiki previously performed with Manson during X Japan’s set at Coachella in 2018. He also just teamed up with St. Vincent this past summer for a new version of her song “New York.”
